"More people vote for Xfactor than their government and you think they can make an informed decision about the merits of being In or Out of Europe..."

There speaks a man constantly spouting off on every thread the virtues of tolerance & total compassion to everything , freedom of speech as long as it doesn’t upset anyone & democracy as long as it goes your way.

In all honesty, if we do vote to come out, it wont affect business as the UK is a huge market for European goods. Some sort of trade agreement will be reached.

Ohhh that got nasty quick.

I didnt say people shouldnt have a vote, I just dont think the electorate know enough to make an informed choice on the merits of either being in or out.

Education would be the key.

But feel free to attack the person rather than the idea..thats the way conversations run here after all.

Well when we send back millions of Europeans living here and Spain Italy France at all suddenly have their unemployed back that are here working they're hardly going to roll over and not fight back.

Re: In/Out Referendum.
robbo you would think so but they're all going to have the massive hump with us leaving and cutting the money supply off.

We and the Germans currently pay for the sodding thing, they're hardly going to thank us for pulling the money supply.

Re: In/Out Referendum.
but they won't be legal any more because freedom of movement will have gone. they'll be illegal.

unless ukip is giving them all residency rights.

which if it is makes a mockery of bitching about Europeans coming over here and taking the jobs and benefits if non of them will be kicked out.

Re: In/Out Referendum.
but they won't be legal.

we leave the eu that ends freedom of movement.

that's ukips position.

no eu. less immigration.

so if we aren't in the eu freedom of movement goes.

so what happens to all the Europeans here.

are they all staying or going?

Re: In/Out Referendum.
It's way down on my list of priorities but as the EU is currently a centre right, pro austerity wankfest I'm very much against it as it stands. I'd like to see concrete unbiased facts though - clearly stating the repercussions and benefits for us if we did ever leave.

After8 3:20 Tue Apr 7
Re: In/Out Referendum.
so it's rubbish?

right ho.

lets be clear.

ukip say leave the eu and reduce immigration.

leaving the eu means no more freedom of movement.

with no freedom of movement Europeans don't have any right to live and work in our independent country.

that's a fact.

that means

either they leave as they are now illegal immigrants with no rights.

or a ukip government lets them stay.

which is it?

I think it's pathetic to hear the Labour twats literally stating that the UK's import / export trade will collapse if we come out of the EU. Fucking laughable.
